The May Business Development Series continues with special guest, Katie Schmitten, who is the Career Counselor at Cascade High School and operates the Career Connection Program.

Cascade High School’s Career Connections program is in its second year of operation. Students first learn valuable life skills: business etiquette, how to build an effective resume, write cover letters, how to successfully interview, etc. Our students then obtain an internship position with a local business based on what they think they would like to pursue in their post-secondary education. 

This program is a great opportunity to help build a bridge between our local high school and our local businesses in order to support one another.
